AND IN THE END
The Beatles last
album was performed live on many tracks and a
fitting tribute to one of the few bands who had
learnt thier craft the hard way, on stage,
crossing all generations, from the leather jacket's
and 'Teddy Boy' styles of the fifties, the Mod
and Hippy generations, through to the present day...
Not bad for for a couple of lad's from Liverpool
eh?
The group itself
had more than 'died' long before the tragic
murder of John Lennon, and in some way, the fact
that they did not return as a unit in the future
to pander to the 'money men', adds to the quality
and memory of what they had achieved musicaly and
still means today to the old and new generation
of music 'fans'.
No 'has been's', but, 'the best there ever was'.

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Well...
Groovy
Fab-Tastic, Gear- Fab, happening, and all that
great sixties word stuff- Pop Pickers.
And
in the end,
the love you take
is equal to,
the love you make..
Still trying to work out that lyric.. But when a
band has worked
together for so long,
lived in each others pockets,
and the 'love' of making
music with each other
runs out, a time for a break
must eventually come.
For the beatles it was 1970
