Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Well...
Groovy
Fab-Tastic, Gear- Fab, happening, and all that
great sixties word stuff- Pop Pickers.
You know when a
record
(and film) is produced for the sake of a few
bucks,
when the back cover is full of a 'review' of
another 'great'
album (The White Album)..
Please buy it, it's great Groovy Fab-Tastic, Gear-
Fab,
happening, etc etc.
The yellow submarine album however, is a handful
of songs snatched from a cartoon film of 'The
Beatles', the voices of
which were actually actors,
the group playing no part in the film itself.
'Nothing is Real' is printed
on the album cover, and like
the film, nothing, apart from
a few cobbled together tracks were the Beatles.
The Abbey Road
production
however, was the last
ground-breaking record the
Beatles recorded, and Ringo
Starr's best singing effort.
Well put together, and far
ahead of it's time.
