The Author Notes. As a 'child of the
sixties' and seventies, at school, I grew up in a most
interesting Time. The second world war was still a
comparatively fresh memory and there were many films of
it's event's, still being shown on the television. However, whatever and wherever, violence was happening, hope for the future was always an undercurrent that flowed through the songs of the era and the comedy of the Time, which helped to make light of ordinary peoples problems, in the very difficult period that they lived in. It would seem nothing much changes, as the clock ticks on, throughout the centuries. History has always been my main interest, as I grew up in this historical period I suppose. This interest has since taken me to many parts of the world I would otherwise probably not have visited and liked. What I have learned through travel, is that people are basically the same everywhere, in that they would only want to see war in history books, as each have their own day to day problems and aspirations to contend with, without that sort of thing in their lives today. Maybe one day in the future they will get their wish?. But World Peace or Destruction will only come from those, that to whom the future belongs. The minds and actions of the next Generations.. My own Generation and many others beforehand, have, unfortunately, failed The Great Test Of Time. Maybe, the next will not.. So Buddy. I hope you enjoy the Cartoon Buddy Club Legend and book. If you don't.. Then just thanks for stopping by.. There are millions of pages out there and I hope you find the piece, or peace that you are looking for. |

Hello Buddy.. If you wish to explore this website further.. Welcome to The Cartoon Buddy Club Story Book. The Penguin People,
generate from a set of doodles drawn up on paper, while
bored (well, who's not?) in class lessons at school a
very long time ago. (In 1973, after watching for the
first time, a run of the Monty Python TV show. Great but
rather wacky comedy stuff!). Author: O. J. Barnes |
